NCERT PARAKH’s Holistic Progress Card

The NCERT Parakh’s Holistic Progress Card is a digital tool developed by the National Council of Educational Research and Training (NCERT) in India. It is designed to provide a comprehensive assessment of students’ progress and development across various dimensions, beyond just academic performance. The Holistic Progress Card aims to provide a more holistic view of students’ learning and development, taking into account their academic achievements as well as their skills, attitudes, and values.

The Holistic Progress Card includes indicators related to cognitive, affective, and psychomotor domains of learning. It may assess students’ abilities in areas such as critical thinking, creativity, communication skills, social and emotional skills, and physical health. The card is intended to help teachers, parents, and students themselves understand students’ strengths and areas for improvement across these different dimensions.

By providing a more comprehensive assessment of students’ progress, the Holistic Progress Card aims to support a more holistic approach to education that goes beyond academic achievement and emphasizes the development of well-rounded individuals.
